All Central Government Officials to use Arogya Setu App

All Central government officials including the outsourced workforce, have been directed to immediately download the Arogya Setu App on their mobile phones.

This have been told by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) to review the status on before going out for work and commute only when it shows their status 'safe'or 'low risk'. 

In this app ,status 'safe', 'low risk' and 'high risk'shows on the bases of Bluetooth proximity that is recent contact with the infected person . If the status shows high risk then that person should isolate itself till status come safe or low risk. 

This Aarogya Setu App or Contact Tracking App has been downloaded more than 7.5 crore times. It uses the phones Bluetooth and GPS capabilities to alert the user. This  app give alertness when the person came into the contact with another person who has been tested positive for covid-19.

Air Force will conduct flypast on May 3,2020 to salute Corona Warriors

In a press conference on May 1,2020 , Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat  said that the Air Force will conduct flypast to salute coronavirus warriors . This flypast will be conducted from Srinagar to Trivandrum and another from Dibrugarh in Assam to Kutch in Gujarat on May 3,2020. It will include  both transport  and fighter air craft. Bipin Rawat said, this will be conducted to express gratitude to all covid-19 warriors who are doing great with their work against coronavirus even risking their own life. He was accompanied by the three military chiefs of Indian Army General Manoj Mukund Naravam, Navy Chief  Admiral Karambir Singh,  and  Indian air force chief R. K. S Bhadaurea.  IAF will also be showering the patels on the hospitals across, the country which are involved in the fight against covid-19 . In every district of our country their will be  mounted along some of the covid-19 hospitals.

Airtel Signs $1 billion deal with Nokia to enhance network capacity and this deal will lead to 5G network in future throughout the country

Nokia and Bharti Airtel on 28 April 2020 announced an agreement of $1 billion to deploy Nokia 's SRAN solution across nine circles of India . This deal will help Airtel to enhance the capacity and the speed of this network that will also improves customers experience .This will also provide 5G connectivity in future and approximately 300,000 radio units deployed across several spectrum bands including 900mhz, 1800Mhz, 2100Mhz and 2300Mhz. This is expected to completed by 2022.
